RIAA giving up.....sort of

Looks like the RIAA is finally going to stop going after any and all music file sharers that it can catch. They'll still going after big sharers, but as long as you don't put your music for upload at high kb/s constantly, you'll probably be ok. What they are going to do, however, is work with ISPs by notifying them about big sharers. The ISPs will probably do stuff such as sending out warning letters, slowing down service, and then terminating service. Hopefully, ISPs won't give people a hard time, and there will probably be some issues with the FCC about limiting service for paying customers based on usage habits. The RIAA's probably doing this just because it's reputation has been reduced to a pile of crap because of their ruthless demands on people for thousands of dollars. We just have to hope that regulation and the ISPs themselves don't allow the RIAA to mess with people's service, or there could be more lawsuits like this one:
